Directions to Sandy Beach: Coming
into Ridgway on 219 from DuBois, you will descend Boot Jack, go through town,
approximately 3 lights, cross over the bridge, continue on Main Street, continue
straight through the 4th light. From this point, you will continue on Main
Street to the edge of town (approximately 1/2 mile). On the way, you will
pass the West End Superette (on your right), keep going. You will round a
bend and a road will go toward your right. That is Grant Road. The
road you are on will continue - this will be called Laurel Mill Road. You
will go up a hill. At the top of the hill, it will come to a
"Y". Take the road to the left. Continue on this
road. As you go around a bend, on the left will be a golf course. Continue
on this road for approximately 3/4 of a mile (it becomes winding). Sandy
Beach is on the left. Ball is played on the second field.
Directions to the High School
and Elementary School:
From the Northwest (Sheffield Area):
To the High School Take PA-666 South to
PA-948 South. Turn left onto PA-66. Continue on PA-66/PA-948.
PA-948 becomes Montmorenci Road. Continue on Montmorenci Road to stop
light. Make a left onto W. Main Street which becomes Main Street. Go
through three stop lights. Make a left onto Route 120 East. Look for
Fillmore Avenue. Make a left onto Fillmore Avenue. Go
straight. To get the the main entrance of the high school, make a right
onto Hill Street. The school will be on your left. To get to the
gymnasium, continue on Fillmore Avenue. The gymnasium entrance will be on
the right. Continue around to the back of the building for the auditorium
entrance.
From the Northwest (Sheffield Area):
To the Elementary School Take PA-666 South
to PA-948 South. Turn left onto PA-66. Continue on
PA-66/PA-948. PA-948 becomes Montmorenci Road. Continue on
Montmorenci Road to stop light. Make a left onto W. Main Street which
becomes Main Street. Go through three stop lights. Continue up the
hill. Make a left onto School Road. The elementary school is in
front of you. The main entrance to the elementary school is in the front
of the building. Continue to the back of the building for the entrance to
the Office of the Superintendent, for soccer and softball fields, and for the
elementary gymnasium. From the North (Bradford
Area):
To the High School Take US-219 South to
Ridgway. At the stop light in Ridgway, make a left onto Main Street. Make
a left onto Route 120 East. Look for Fillmore Avenue. Make a left
onto Fillmore Avenue. Go straight. To get the the main entrance of
the high school, make a right onto Hill Street. The school will be on your
left. To get to the gymnasium, continue on Fillmore Avenue. The
gymnasium entrance will be on the right. Continue around to the back of
the building for the auditorium entrance. From

Fillmore Avenue. The gymnasium entrance will be on the right.

the South:
To the Elementary School Take US-219 North
to Ridgway. Make a right onto School Road (on the right after the Royal
Drive Inn). The elementary school is in front of you. The main entrance to
the elementary school is in the front of the building. Continue to the
back of the building for the entrance to the Office of the Superintendent, for
soccer and softball fields, and for the elementary gymnasium.
