New Economy Technology Scholarship Information

Application

Varies To qualify you must:

Be a resident of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Be a high school graduate.

Be enrolled in an approved science or technology program at an approved Pennsylvania two- or four-year college or licensed technical institute.

Maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) throughout postsecondary study.

Begin employment in the state within one year after completion of studies, one year for each year that the scholarship was awarded. Verification of continued employment (158 KB PDF) must be provided every six (6) months. See CareerLink for information about employment. A deferment of the work obligation is available for continued full-time study in a baccalaureate degree program that begins within one year of completion of the program for which Technology Scholarship funds were received. Recipients who wish to apply for this deferment should Contact PHEAA . For more information, see NETS Work Obligation.

Apply for a Federal Pell Grant and Pennsylvania State Grant.
