Where can a student get Vocational Education?

A wide variety of activities can be considered vocational education. Such activities could include (but should not be limited to):

Vocational Technical School (regular or modified)

            Industrial Arts/Home Economics/Business Education

            Cooperative Education (paid jobs)

            School-Based Jobs (paid or non-paid)

Community-based work experiences (paid or non-paid)

            Job shadowing

            Volunteer work

Youth Development System (Workforce Investment Act-WIA)

                                                            Be Creative!

Opportunities are limited only by the ingenuity of the Transition Planning IEP Team.
